The Südersand is a model of a small steam tug on a scale of 1:20, which is typical of the tugs of the 20s and 30s.

The kit is characterized by the use of the latest laser technology and a high degree of accuracy of fit. The fuselage is made of deep-drawn plastic, the superstructures are made of laser-cut wooden parts. High-quality etched parts made of brass allow fine detailing of the model.

There is enough space in the voluminous fuselage for the entire RC installation. A smoke generator can also be installed as an option.
The model can optionally be equipped with lighting. The chimney is - like the original - foldable and can be turned over with a servo. The kit provides for the drive with conventional brush motors, but also with modern external rotors.

The kit contains a large, deep-drawn plastic hull, laser parts made of wood, the ship's shaft and ship's propeller, etched parts, fittings such as fans, lifebuoy, fenders, tow hooks, lighting fixtures and extensive 3D assembly instructions.
