Ares Jet XL (blau) / 1000mm

The Ares XL was developed based on the successful Ares indoor platform, which was originally created in collaboration with Krill Aircraft and Jack Jehle. With the XL version, we have taken the concept even further – the result is a larger outdoor model with a fully profiled wing, offering a completely new flight experience and flight characteristics that are significantly closer to those of real, large-scale fighter jets.

The profiled wing, specially designed for outdoor flight, provides significantly improved flight characteristics compared to the indoor version. The model appears exceptionally stable, precise, and predictable under all conditions. The wing profile gives the model a high degree of safety in turns, improved energy retention during fast passes, and an overall more mature and realistic flight behavior. One of the things that impressed us most during development was its incredible wind resistance. The Ares XL remains calm and precise even in conditions where typical EPP models already lose stability. In the air, it looks smooth, confident, and extremely realistic – it behaves much more like a larger composite fighter jet than a conventional foam model.

The design combines low weight with high strength and durability. The EPP material offers excellent crash resistance and is easy to repair even after harder landings or minor collisions. At the same time, the model remains agile and dynamic without losing the stable and precise flight feel. The Ares XL is the result of extensive development with a clear goal: to create a durable, precise, and exceptionally powerful EPP flight model that conveys the feeling of flying a large fighter jet in a compact and practical form.
